The annual Chelsea Flower Show opens to the public this morning.

The RNLI is one of the charities being honoured with a garden at this year’s event to mark its 200th anniversary.

The RNLI Rose has taken 8 years to perfect and is a peachy-orange colour to match the lifeboats.

It’s been grown by Peter Beales’ Roses and Nursery Manager Ian Limmer tells us more about it.
