RNLI Chiswick has added a new permanent base to its Christmas wish-list.

The lifeboat charity acquired a building in Wandsworth Riverside Quarter late last year with plans to relocate there.

Planning permission has been granted for change of use to a lifeboat station and proposals are fit to proceed to the next phase.

But £300,000 is still needed to make the dream a reality for the crew which is the UK’s second busiest behind RNLI Tower London.
