Richmond’s councillors have been to the new Elleray Community Hall site in Teddington to lay its first bricks.

Construction works were due to start in February last year with a delivery date set of ‘early 2024’.

But this was delayed after the original contractor pulled out of the development which includes affordable housing.

The new site is being part-funded by the sale of the existing Elleray Hall in Elleray Road.
