Postal voters in a part of Spelthorne are being sent new ballot papers as a matter of urgency with the Local Elections looming.

It’s after white papers sent out to residents in Stanwell, Stanwell Moor & Ashford North wards were found to have an error on them.

It stated people can only vote for one candidate, when they can in fact, vote for up to two.

People who vote by post are being asked to bin the white paper ballot and use the new yellow version instead when it arrives.
