Pollution in London has reduced following the expansion of the Ultra Low Emission Zone.

That’s according to a new report released by The Mayor of London and City Hall.

It shows levels of harmful nitrogen dioxide is estimated to have decreased by 27% across the whole area.

Drivers of vehicles which don’t meet emissions standards, have to pay £12.50 every time they use them when in the zone which was expanded to outer London in August 2023.
