Police say a “huge” number of knives and other bladed items have a been deposited today at a dedicated knife bin on Feltham High Street.

Officers say the bin gives people a safe and anonymous way to dispose of knives.

The initiative is being carried out in partnership with charity Word 4 Weapons.
