On December 12 officers were called to Penton Hook Lock following reports of a body in the water.
A man in his 40’s was later taken from the water by Surrey Fire and Rescue Service.
Despite extensive enquiries police have not yet been able to identify the man or trace his next of kin.
He’s described a bald white man in his 40s, about 6-feet tall, wearing a blue top, black tracksuit trousers and blue trainers.
