The man was approached by two men armed with knives at the junction between Temple Close and Hazon Way at 5:30am.
The two men punched the victim before taking his phone and glasses.
They are described as white, wearing black tracksuits and balaclavas with their hoods up – anyone with information should contact Surrey Police.
