The terms were agreed by Cabinet at a meeting on Wednesday after listening to residents’ concerns about the image of the borough.
A six-week consultation was carried out earlier this year to hear people’s views on bin collections and street cleaning services.
By getting a new, individual deal for Croydon, the council can better design a service to meet the specific needs of the borough.
