Plans for a replacement skatepark in a Surrey village have received more than 150 letters of support.

Cobham Residents’ Association was among those to speak positively of the plans for Leg O’Mutton playing field.

The applicant said a contemporary site was vital to encourage skateboarding, wheelchair sports and BMX in future generations.

The application is set to be decided by Elmbridge Borough Council’s planning committee on Tuesday.
