Plans for a new housing development in Elmbridge are being met with nearly 200 objections from residents.

Alongside new build development, the plans for an accompanying open space has been met by 190 public objections so far.

Developers are proposing plans for 250 homes on a green belt site in Stoke D’Abernon to support the council’s affordable housing needs.

Elmbridge had previously been labelled as “one of the least affordable in the country” by a planning inspector.
