People in Richmond are being invited to learn how to monitor the water quality of the River Thames.

Twickenham based charity, Habitats & Heritage, is hosting an introduction to river surveying next weekend.

Participants will take part in water quality testing, freshwater invertebrate sampling and wet woodland exploring.

The event next Sunday will take place at the end of Old Deer Park car park.
