People catching the bus in Surrey will soon have cleaner and quieter journeys after 13 new electric vehicles were introduced to the fleet.

The first buses are already running between Weybridge and Woking, with routes including Kingston, Walton and Addlestone to follow.

The new vehicles are funded by Surrey County Council and the Government.

West Byfleet-based Falcon Buses says the move is a major step towards running a fully electric fleet.
