People are being urged to have their say on plans to pump treated sewage into the River Thames at Teddington Lock.

Debt ridden Thames Water says the Teddington Direct River Abstraction scheme will be vital during droughts and dry weather.

It would see wastewater diverted to Teddington via an underground pipeline from Mogden Sewage Treatment Works in Isleworth.

Thames Water’s public consultation is taking place from June the 17th to the 26th of August via its website.
