One arrest has been made after a racially aggravated assault at a shop in Hinchley Wood.

The victim was subjected to racist verbal abuse during an altercation in Budgens on Manor Road South at around 6pm on Christmas Eve.

The suspect is a White man, 5ft11, slim build, around 40 years old, wearing a black and grey North Face coat and black and white sliders.

A 42-year-old man was arrested and released on police bail.
