Not many schools have a wall of blue plaques in their playground . . . but one in Hammersmith is celebrating just that.

Pupils at Wendell Park Primary have completed a special project for Black History Month and created their own versions of the plaques.

Figures honoured include footballer Marcus Rashford and South African anti-apartheid activist Nelson Mandela.

Each child did a presentation on their chosen individual and their class voted for one person they deemed worthy of having a plaque.
