The closure comes as Network Rail announces “critical upgrades” to the line between Surrey and Sussex.
Engineers will be laying new wheel timbers on the railway bridge over the River Wey to the South of Guildford.
Southern trains will continue to run between Reigate and Redhill, as will Southern and Thameslink between Redhill and Gatwick Airport.
