Newly crowned Wimbledon men’s singles champion Carlos Alcaraz thinks his victory over Novak Djokovic can help a new generation of players believe they can win Grand Slam titles

The 20-year-old Spaniard won an epic final in five sets on Centre Court.

Djokovic praised Alcaraz as the complete player – displaying elements of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Djokovic himself.

The world number one is the youngest men’s winner at the All England Club since Boris Becker in 1986.
