New zebra crossings could soon be installed outside two schools in Roehampton and Putney.

Councillors are poised to approve the plans when they meet tomorrow.

The schools involved are Hurlingham in Putney Bridge Road and Heathmere in Alton Road in Roehampton.

Wandsworth council says the move will make children’s journeys to and from school safer.
