New research has revealed that Kensington and Chelsea has the highest-rated food hygiene standards in London.

The borough scored 4.81 out of 5 after checks on more than 1,000 restaurants, cafes and other food businesses.

The report found food hygiene ratings across London have slightly improved, with more than 36,800 premises analysed.

Ealing had the lowest score in the capital, while Lewisham saw the biggest improvement.
