They’ve been installed in King Street and its side streets.
It means Blue Badge holders can park for free for up to three hours.
The council says it worked with disabled members of the community to work out exactly what was needed.
Where to find the new bays:
Down Place – Located just off Bridge Avenue, the new Disabled parking bay in Down Place provides convenient access to popular shops, including the nearby Primark.
Macbeth Street – Three additional Disabled parking bays have been established on Macbeth Street, near the Macbeth Centre and across from the Plough and Harrow pub. These spaces offer a safe and accessible option for those visiting King Street.
