Six London Overground railway lines are to be given official names.
They include the route between Clapham Junction, Richmond andand Stratford, and the line from West Croydon through Clapham Junction, Crystal Palace and New Cross to Highbury and Islington.
TFL believes naming the lines will give public confidence a boost.
Community groups and transport historians will be consulted along with the commission for diversity in the public realm.
It’;s hoped the new names will be chosen t=by the end of 2024.
