Motorists are being warned that fog, which has caused disruption to flights across the UK, will continue this morning.

The Met Office has warned the murkey weather could reduce visibility down to just 100 metres in some areas of the country.

Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow and Cardiff have had delays and cancellations for safety reasons.

Meanwhile at Heathrow, nearly 500 flights were delayed and up to 35 were cancelled yesterday.
