Most residents with little or no off-street parking in Hounslow will live around a one-minute walk from a charger by Christmas.

That’s according to the council which has secured £1.1million from the government.

The money is coming from the Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Fund and will be used to install dedicated EV bays and chargers.

The Council has already installed 408 chargers in recent years and says it will deliver 2,000 new ones by March 2026.
