More than two weeks after a massive glacial collapse triggered catastrophic flash floods across Nepal and Tibet the death toll has now passed 1,300 people.

Nepal has now shifted its diplomatic posture from requesting humanitarian aid to demanding climate compensation.

No definite link between the floods and climate change has been established.
