More than a thousand footballs have been used to spell out the word “proud” on a pitch near Heathrow Airport this morning – celebrating the England women’s team.

Former Lioness Faye White says they’ll “still be feeling a bit low” following their 1-nil defeat to Spain in the Women’s World Cup final.

They touched down back in the UK earlier after their best ever finish at the tournament.
