More than a hundred staff and patients have been evacuated from the Royal Victoria Hospital in Kingston because of a fire.
25 firefighters with four engines tackled the blaze, which broke out at around 11am in a cleaner’s cupboard on the ground floor.
No one is reported hurt and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Coombe Lane West is closed between Traps Lane and Warbank Lane whilst firefighters work to make the scene safe.
