The integration has been supported by funding from a number of organisations including the Environment Agency.
Visitors to the park are being asked to keep their dogs away from the riverbeds while the voles get used to life there.
Water voles are known as ecosystem engineers because the way they burrow encourages a more diverse range of plants to grow.
