Mohamed Al Fayed, who previously owned Fulham Football Club as well as Harrods, has died at the age of 94.

The Egyptian-born businessman passed away on Wednesday.

His son – film producer Dodi Fayed – was involved in a fatal car crash with the then Princess of Wales on August 31st 1997.

Fulham Football Club has paid tribute to the former owner and chairman calling him “wise, colourful and committed” to the team.
