Middlesbrough boss Michael Carrick says the club and town have been “re-energised” by their run to the semi-finals of the EFL Cup.

The Championship side host Premier League Chelsea in the first leg of their last four tie tonight.

Carrick knows they’re not fancied to go through, but says fans can dream.
