Message from Richmond Council following fire at Central Depot in Twickenham.

Earlier today a fire occurred at the Council’s Central Depot in Twickenham.

The fire in the recycling area is now under control, but residents may see some smoke or soot in the surrounding area.

London Fire Brigade remains on site while investigations into the cause of the fire continue.

Richmond Council says it would like to thank London Fire Brigade “for its swift response and the emergency services and staff involved in managing the situation.”
