Held in Lyric Square, the event last week encouraged open conversations about wellbeing and emotional support available.
It was part of Hammersmith and Fulham Council’s work to improve mental health and reduce suicide.
In 2024, there were 7,147 deaths registered in the UK where the cause was recorded as suicide according to the House of Commons Library.
Between 2021 and 2023, there were 58 registered suicides and deaths by injury of undetermined intent in Hammersmith and Fulham.
The council says this equates to a rate of 10.7 deaths per 100,000 residents, which was the highest rate in London.
