The fast-food chain already has a drive-thru restaurant just off the nearby North Cheam crossroads.
The company says it recognises the location is surrounded by residential properties in a “sensitive neighbourhood.”
To this effect, it says it will implement appropriate control measures to limit cooking odours.
McDonald’s is also promising a minimum of three daily litter picks I and around the proposed Central Road restaurant.
The chain says the launch would help meet growing customer demand and “improve local food choice.”
