Manchester United have named name Michael Carrick as interim head coach after reaching an agreement on his backroom staff.

Former England and Chelsea assistant manager Steve Holland will be his number two, with Jonathan Woodgate and Jonny Evans joining as coaches.

Ex-United midfielder Carrick is due to take over until the end of the season following Ruben Amorim’s sacking.
