Major improvement works are due to begin on a busy route in Earlsfield on Monday.

Burntwood Lane connects Wandsworth Common to Garratt Lane.

The works will introduce wider footways, safer crossing points for pedestrians and new segregated cycling lanes.

No road closures are expected and the works are due to proceed over the coming year.
