London Fire Brigade has recorded its busiest 24-hour period this year.

It took 1,251 calls to incidents across the capital on Monday.

They included two to a fire at a house in Dawes Road in Fulham and 14 to another house fire in Lambeth North.

LFB says its’ anticipating a busier period because of the heatwaves and is asking Londoners to avoid items like disposable BBQs.
