London boroughs have collectively spent £4 million every day on temporary accommodation for homeless people.

The figures, for the 2023 2024 financial year, are detailed in a new report published today by the cross-party London Councils group.

It’s also revealed the number of Londoners in temporary accommodation includes almost 90,000 children.
