London Ambulance Service are urging people to stay safe on what is forecast to be the hottest day of the year so far.

There’s highs of 29 degrees expected in south west London and Surrey today.

We’re being warned that the hot weather and high pollen count can have a significant impact on health.

The service took around 6,000 calls to 999 every day last week and are expecting the upcoming bank holiday weekend to be even busier.
