Lidl is introducing electronic shelf labels across all its stores to cut down on paper and ink.

The supermarket says they’ll replace paper labelling by the end of the year following trials in more than 35 stores.

The supermarket giant, whose UK headquarters are based in Tolworth, says it will save more than 206 tonnes of carbon annually.
