A farm in Effingham has been hosting its first encounter day with ponies for people living with dementia.
Tea with a Pony was organised by the Horsley, Bookham and Leatherhead Riding for the Disabled Association.
They’re hoping that time spent stroking the ponies and enjoying tea and cake would prove therapeutic.
It’s an expansion in service for the trained volunteers who normally support disabled children in learning to ride.
