Keeping young people safe, happy, and healthy is the key priority for Croydon Council’s new Youth Justice Service.

The team, which works with youngsters to try and reduce levels of offending, has laid out its aims for the year ahead.

Croydon has the largest youth population in London and is home to 94,000 under-18s.

Executive Mayor Jason Perry says futureproofing the borough for the next generations is one of the council’s top priorities.
