January is best known for being dark and dreary, but Kingston is preparing to light up.

A free, public illumination event is coming to the borough between February the 14th and 23rd.

Light Up Kingston 2025 is a series of light installations which will be dotted around the town centre each day after dark.

The council says the event will be fun and engaging for people of all ages.
