Jackie’s Jacqui Kerr talks to Glioma patient Mike Wallis from Cobham about his campaign to get a “lifesaving” drug made available on the NHS.

Glioma is a type of brain tumor that starts in the brain’s glial cells, which are supportive cells for nerve cells.

Mike is being treated on an early access scheme at The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton with a new drug called Vorasidenib.

He is fundraising to petition NICE to allow the drug to be made available on the NHS.
