The brigade was called to Woodley Close on Monday morning where half of the first and second floors and the roof was destroyed.
35 people left the building before firefighters arrived and a woman and child were treated on scene for smoke inhalation and shock.
An LFB spokesperson says, “Candles are one of the most common causes of fire”.
