It’s thought a dolphin spotted in the Thames earlier this week has died after one of the mammals was found washed up at Mortlake.

It’s been spotted lying dead on the foreshore.

A dolphin had been seen swimming in the tideway section of the river between Hammersmith Bridge and Putney Bridge on Tuesday.
