The UK’s biggest nightclub firm, Rekom UK, announced earlier this week it is planning to call in administrators.
This could result in some venues closing for good.
One of the nightclubs in Rekom UK’s portfolio, Pryzm in Kingston, regularly hosts concerts organised by nearby Banquet Records.
Artists who appeared there last year include Ed Sheeran and Shania Twain.
Banquet Records has released a statement saying the news was expected and at the moment, it’s business as usual.
A number of gigs are planned for this year including The Hoosiers and The Vaccines.
