D’Oyly Carte Island has been given the go-ahead to host three days of music and entertainment in July.
Elmbridge Borough Council had previously issued a notice to stop the event going ahead on safety concerns.
But it now says the weekend concert can take place “after four months of working on risk assessment and escape plans”.
