It was the end of an era at the Twickenham Stoop last night, as Joe Marler played his final match for the club before he retires.

Whilst it was a special day for the 95-capped England prop his team lost to the Bristol Bears 24-48.

In a post-match interview Marler said he was blown away by the fans and ‘it’s been great, I guess it’s over now.’

Harlequins head coach Danny Wilson said that he was ‘a very special person.’
