It’s claimed a man followed her along Douglas Road before forcibly kissing her and exposing himself on the afternoon of July the 22nd.
An appeal for information was made by Surrey Police in the first week of August, around two weeks after the incident was reported.
Responding to public criticism about the timeframe, police say it was to allow officers sufficient time to investigate other lines of enquiry.
