Officers were called to the anticlockwise carriageway of the M25 between J11 and J10 just before 11.50pm last night following a report of a collision at the location involving a pedestrian and multiple vehicles.
The pedestrian, an 18-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed and no arrests have been made.
Both carriageways of the M25 were closed between Junction 10 (Wisley) and Junction 11 (Chertsey) overnight, along with the A245 Parvis Road, but reopened at 11am.
Enquiries are underway to understand the circumstances leading up to this collision.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or have any CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage that could assist the investigation, to get in touch.
Statement from South East Coast Ambulance:
“South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) was called at 11.50pm yesterday, following concerns for the welfare of a pedestrian seen between Junction 10 and 11 of the M25. Crews attended the incident, where a man was found with significant head injuries. Sadly, he was declared deceased at the scene.”
